The Holiday Video is Up!!!

The holiday video is finally up!! It's not as amazing as I was hoping it to be, but I suck as an editor anyway soo... whatevs. I think it's decent and I spent sooo many hours on it!!! AND I'm soo, soooo, SOOOO happy and excited that my computer DIDN'T decide to glitch out on me (as it usually does).

I tried to include all our favorite biases and such. For bball42242442, I don't know if you noticed that I tried to include a lot of Nana and a little Lizzy for you and very little Rania. There's some Nu'est for the Lo/\e's out there. I was also able to find some U-Kiss clips of Xander and (Allen) Kibum for people that support them as solo artists (or, like me, will always stubbornly think of U-Kiss as a 9-member family). I really hope you guys enjoy!!!

After watching it myself, I think that there's this... large-ISH... amount of U-Kiss in the video.....

New Profile Picture

I made a logo picture thingie!!!!!!
I made it in paint, but it look cooler when made bigger, because I took a picture of a red candle that I have and it's got all kind of hues of reds that swirl together and stuff. I took that picture and used the eraser on Paint to make an apple!!!  And I took a picture of an actual apple to get the stalk of the apple.  ^_^

I think that should totally be our color. Apple red.

Hey guys! It's Jenny again!! (I guess I'm the only one managing the blog... Not that I really know what to put up here... ^_^" )

Anyway, that holiday video I've been promising?
I'm getting there. I think I've isolated all the clips and pictures that I want and now I'm just working on getting them all in the right order that I want and get all the timings right and hope that my computer doesn't glitch out on me in the middle or something.
I've been saving everything on a flash drive, so hopefully that will keep me from losing stuff and having to start over. I've got about a minute of the song done, but all that downloading and cutting really takes a lot of time. I feel really sorry and in awe of editors everywhere. Just imagine how much time must go into the cutting, pasting, and editing of all those music videos!!! They probably have better software than I do but still!!!!

As a... teaser (?) of sorts. I'll release all the videos/clips and pictures that I used (or rather, where I found them). It was kind of hard narrowing them down to these, because I really wanted to stick to non-fan stuff, but there were so many good random fancam and fan-dubbed shows that I wanted to use (especially for U-Kiss, the only Christmas-y thing that I could find that was not fan-dubbed shows was "Neverland" and that's just because it has snow in it.......)

Delayed Holiday Video

So, because I guess everyone decided to not send me anything, I've had to change everything up. I've also been really busy because I was going to work on it today and yesterday, but I was scheduled to work, so I really didn't get much time to work on the video. However, I'm going to keep working on it now, but it totally is not going to be finished until Christmas is over.  :(
I'm still going to try to get it up before the New Year's though!!!

So, since I have close to nothing to work with. I'm going to clash together some of us Epik Nasties' biases!!! As well as multiple companies because they all produce our favorite K-pop music and gave us our favorite idols to love!!

For the Pledis family, I think I can use clips from Orange Caramel and NU'EST's "Dashing through the Snow in High Heels" for iloveminhyun the Almighty Editor and Jamie... the guy...
It is very Christmas-y (obviously) and I've already found some parts that I think I will be able to match to the song. This is just going to take a lot of time.....

I would also really like to get some U-KISS in there because they're adorable. Obviously. They're AMAZING!!! So far the only thing Christmas-y was a fan posted video of them and SECRET doing a holiday thingie, but I REALLY want to try to get videos that were actually posted by the companies or stuff so it'll be easier for me to credit them. There are some adorable clips of them from gurupop.com (They were on Episode 9- [Gurupop LINK] [YouTube LINK] You should watch it. IT'S IN (mostly) ENGLISH!!!) that I think I could probably use, even though it was totally not Christmas-y in anyway. It was winter-y! They had sweaters!!!

For the JYP nation, I'm already using their song "This Christmas," and I'll mostly likely put in some clips of them too. (Just because I'm so Miss A biased.)

I really don't know what to do about the SM World. I love SHINee and f(x) and Super Junior, but I feel like they already have so much global love and they're so well known and stuff. And I don't know if clips from their "Santa, U Are the One" video will match, but I will watch it again. I'll probably see if Amber and Henry's "Happy Holiday" video has anything that will match well, because I so totally ship them. (They're Not-Born-In-China Chinese!!! I guess Amber would be an ABC aka American-Born Chinese, while Henry would be a CBC aka Canadian-Born Chinese..... I'm an ABC like Amber! ke ke ke ke ke.....)

Then, of course, we definitely need to involve the YG family, or at least Epik High, since we ARE The Epik Nasties... They had a Christmas Concert video where they have SANTA HATS!! I think I can totally use this. This was from their MapTheSoul account. Maybe I can also add in a little of one of my personal favorites from their MapTheSoul account - "Beasty Mithra VS. Tablo & Tukutz"  -  just for the adorable-ness.

The GURUPOP Show needs our help! Help out?

Epik Nasties - Christmas Cover?

Hey guys!!! It's Jenny here again. Are you one of the Nasties that wishes that you could have participated in the making of the Epik High cover? Well, guess what!!  I'm going to make a cover of the JYP family's "This Christmas."

I'm not the one that edited our first video, so it might not turn out as awesome. (I'm the one with the sucky editing software... so don't expect any Dancing Death Gods (Ryuk is awesome!), but I will do my absolute best to make it awesome!!!)  If you want to join in on the fun, film yourself dancing or lip syncing to "This Christmas" and send it to epiknasties@gmail.com

There's no real deadline, but I plan to start piecing clips together on Saturday, 12/22 and I want it to be done and posted by late Christmas Eve, or if I get held up for some reason, early Christmas (and by "early" I mean like 2am EST early) so if you want to help out, try to send it in about that time AT THE LATEST.

It doesn't really matter. I don't know what kinds of clips and how many clips I'm going to get yet. Make it at least a few seconds long and don't make it the entire song. (Or if you just want to dance to the entire song and leave for me to cut and edit i guess that's okay too. Gives me more to work with!!)

New Site!!

It's finals week and it's stressful, so I wanted to find something to do that's not so stressful, so I decided I'm going to make a page for us Epik Nasties!!! Plus a shout out to some of our other (usually overlooked and under-appreciated) favorites like Orange Caramel and Nu'est!!!

It's a bit lackluster the moment, but I'm going to spruce it up!!
